Small and narrow boots

XA GTX force mid boot is my weekend indoor usage. It's the perfect one because of heat release and good grip of concrete surfaces of indoor airsoft building. One bad is that you gotta break it. This boot took about 5 days all day wear to loosen it for your feet to feel comfortable. 1st 3 days hurt my bottom and ankle. Where foot touched the boot. I guess nothing is free.You gotta work it 2 achieve it.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But results are perfect look, feel, cool,and good grip of ground. I like this for my hobby. 👍

This is like the worst fever dream ever! Without a doubt, these are the best looking, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had….. but, with the most horrendous shoe lace system ever devised for man! Sorry, it’s just not worth the time or the unnecessary headache, my brother! See ya! 👎👎

Short story. During the GWOT I was running some crye pants with the insert knee pads. We wore those pants around the fob all the time because of the comfort but anyone who owns them knows they SUCK to get the pads in and out. Long story short. Right after a string of fire I sprinted up to a large boulder and took a knee behind it while firing. After moving up and back into more cover once the firing was over I felt a huge burning sensation in my leg and knee. I had no joke like a foot long cactus type plant stuck into my leg. It was my fault obviously but the knee pads were too annoying to get in and out to bring along. I’ll never make that mistake again. These come on and off easy

Where do you get the replacement strings? Amazon has some but the slider is already put together and can’t thread strings through it! Great shoes-horrible shoestrings!!

Arc'teryx is now owned by China... let that sink in for a minute. Also Gortex deceived us all these years - yes they are waterproof and breathable, but not at the same time; they use predatory marketing and advertising tactics; also way overpriced - not good, and I'm not longer a fan of either of these companies.

For some reason there sizing system for me is way off. I have a few a there sneakers I got in size 13. I’ve tried on the boots and 13 is way too big. So for these ones, would you say these are true to size. Because i normally wear 11.5. I’m hearing a lot of mixed reviews on sizing. Thanks.

Kneepads on the pants is not good for everyone because people have different lengths of the legs meaning the kneepad may not be correct placed when sitting down on the knee. This is my experience from working with kneedpads a lot.

Bought my first (and only) pair of Soloman shoes , X ULTRA 04. Three months of easy wear, no hiking, just every day shoes. The laces failed. They failed because of a serious design and material flaw. This is universal as evidenced by the number of videos on this very subject. Why should anyone who bought Soloman shoes with this complicated, weak, lacing be forced into buying new laces and installing them . This is a SOLOMAN problem. The failure of this design is not the buyer's problem or responsibility. Soloman should offer a no charge replacing/lacing service with free pick-up, re-lacing and free return shipping, or a full refund of the cost of the shoe/boot.

It would be nice if Non-LEO/Military people could buy Arc'teryx LEAF products. :\

Got issued the pant and jacket for this. Absolutely fantastic IMO. Went hunting with it for a few days. Bone dry, no wetting out, and I bet easy to re treat.

Worst Salomon boots I've owned. I prefer usual salomon x ultra's for Special Forces work, or XA pro. XA FORCES are too much cushioned, takes AGES to dry, not as confortable and good performance as x ultras or XA pro. They might last longer, yes, but they're more expensive and definitelly worst in performance for my personal experience.

Lets just consider the following: Our troops got along without knee pads all the way from the Revolutionary War, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam and Somalia (With the exception of Delta and some Rangers) into the early 2000s just fine, so any padding is a huge improvement over nothing. However, if you are on a long march, take them off or strap them lower to your ankle because the straps will did into your calf and thighs over time. Knee pads seem to have started appearing as regular issue around the time we started seeing extended deployment time in urban areas.

The Arcteryx jacket is nice though. I used some Atsko on mine after a few wet seasons of use and it works good I like the NikWax too I’ve used the down waterproofer.

I hate that everyone uses the term “kit” since the killin ubl book was written. Just say gear, you’re not a tier 1 anti-terrorism operative! You don’t have kit, you have gear you phony bitcZ.
